Basically Boutique endeavours to package and send all goods between 1 - 2 days from the time an order is placed and payment made. Orders within Australia are sent via Australia Post Express Service and will take between 1-3 days to arrive. Australia Post will deliver between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday. Australia Post Express service allows you to track your order through the Australia Post website. Once your parcel has been dispatched from the Basically Boutique warehouse a unique tracking code will be sent to your nominated email address. You can track your parcel at

Please note, the tracking number can take up to 24 hours to be registered within Australia Post's system. If you have queries about your delivery, please call Australia Post on 13 POST (13 7678).

Pre Orders

Pre Orders are generally open for purchase two to four weeks before their arrival in our warehouse. If you have ordered more than 1 item, in most cases we will ship the part of your order that is in stock unless instructed otherwise.

International Shipping

Basically Boutique ships worldwide!

We use AusPost Track and Pack or similar service to ship all international orders. Delivery usually takes between 3-10 working days to arrive depending on how long the order takes to clear customs.

Duties & Taxes

International purchases may incur taxes and duties applied by customs in the country where the order is delivered. Local taxes and duties incurred are the responsibility of the customer.

We thoroughly inspect each and every item before shipping to ensure each product meets our standard and that you love your Basically Boutique purchase.

Returns and Exchanges are accepted on all merchandise (excluding final sale, items reduced by 40% or more, swimwear and earrings) within 7 business days of receipt for items that are in their original condition, that is; unworn, unwashed, unused, with all tags attached and associated packaging in original condition (including protective shield on swimwear, undamaged shoe box’s and unmarked shoe soles). 

Please note, Basically Boutique cannot accept returns on earrings and swimwear due to health regulations.

We are happy for you to try on your pieces for size, however, please take care to ensure shoes are tried on carpet and clothing does not make contact with makeup as all returned merchandise needs to be in original and re-saleable condition for the next customer.

How do I make a return or exchange?

Step 1 Contact Basically Boutique within 48 hours of receiving your order at stating the reason for your return/exchange. Please include all details of the item you wish to return including country location. Please notify us if you are wanting to exchange and we will check availability of stock or otherwise you may choose to return the item for a refund or store credit note.

Step 2 Basically Boutique will provide you with a returns shipping address and returns authorization number (RA#) to place on your returns & exchanges form that you received with your shipment. Without this number we will not accept your return.

Securely repackage your returning item (include all shoe boxes with shoes). All International and Domestic returns must arrive at Basically Boutique's office within 6 days of receiving this RA#. If the return arrives outside this time (without agreement with us), the item will not be accepted and returned back to you.

For Domestic returns please ship to us via registered or express post as Basically Boutique do not take responsibility for lost items.

For International returns you must ship via a traceable method and provide the tracking details to Basically Boutique.

Basically Boutique cannot accept responsibility for packages we do not ship ourselves.

Step 3 Refunds and exchanges are processed within 1-3 days of receiving the items at the Basically Boutique office. Once the item is inspected based on the above conditions – depending on your request we will either provide a refund, exchange or a credit note.

For Exchange, with confirmation of availability, the new item will be shipped back to you FREE of charge. Only International exchange orders from our sale section will incur a re-delivery charge which are set at the original shipping charges.

For Refund, Basically Boutique will refund the value of the item (via the original form of payment) within 3 days of receiving and accepting the returned item. Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty. You will be notified via email once this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from

For Store Credit Note, you will be sent a Basically Boutique personalised credit note via post or email to use for future purchases, valued at the item you have returned and with no expiry (and not redeemable in cash).

NOTE: For FINAL SALE items only Exchange or Credit Note is offered and Exchanges within Australia are shipped to you free while International exchanges incur re-delivery charges.

Basically Boutique will continue to communicate with you via email at various stages of the process, to ensure you are well informed of the progress of your return.

Basically Boutique reserves the right to reject returns or exchanges that do not comply with the guidelines and process as stated above. In the instance your item is not accepted, it will be returned to you and neither a refund nor exchange granted.
